Ok, so I have two poems to submit. One incorporates nature and the other embodies pleasure and pain. I think it would be fitting to end the year with the latter. After all, there's an argument that those elements are the essential building blocks of life (and character).

Nevertheless, I hope that everyone's year has been filled with more pleasure than pain.
